God does not want us to commit intellectual suicide when we choose to follow him. Faith in Christ is very reasonable when the evidence is carefully and openly explored. Other than the answers & articles within this 'tough questions' section, here are some recommended books which are both interesting and thought provoking:
The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. In this book, Strobel - a former atheist Chicago investigative journalist - shows the historical reliability of the Gospels, despite popular, but often inaccurate, attacks on them from so-called academic sources. It also explores the reliability of the evidence for Jesus' deity and resurrection.
The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel. In this book he deals with the most common objections to the Christian faith.
The Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel. Discover that science, far from disproving God's existence, is showing more and more the extreme probability of God's existence.
The Jesus I never knew by Philip Yancey. In this masterpiece, he helps us take a fresh look at who Jesus really was and is.
Rumours of Another World by Philip Yancey. Yancey finds signs of God and spiritual reality in the most surprising places.
Can man live without God? by Ravi Zacharias. In this book, former Hindu international University lecturer, Ravi, explores the inadequacy of atheism as a working world view.
Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. In this classic, Lewis points to the solid logic that undergirds faith in Christ.
